A long presence in the Balkan region
Nickerson-Zwaan has carried intensive sales and development activities since long in the Balkan region, where many crops are grown. We have very reliable partners indeed here, with whom we have adapted and fine tuned our genetics to suit their needs.
Traditionally Nickerson-Zwaan is known by its wide assortment of brassicas (white, red and Savoy cabbage, Brussels sprouts and cauliflower), cucurbits (watermelon, cucumbers, squashes) and rooted crops (especially onion and radish). Given the profile of our research programmes, Nickerson-Zwaan varieties will be offering even more chances for Balkan growers in the future. All our new varieties are locally tested with the aim to offer highest quality, excellent performance and growers’ profit.
